(Mini) Basic Good Manners & Useful Tricks For dogs over the age of 20 weeks on the class start date. (limited to 6 dogs) 4 weekly sessions/60 minutes Dogs in the House* *Dogs in the House will focus on the "stationary dog." Sits, downs, stays, not jumping up on people, going to a specific place (and then, of course, staying there). Dogs in Motion** **Dogs in Motion will focus on attention and recalls, loose leash walking, getting chicken bones found on the sidewalk out of your dog's mouth (eeeuw!!!) and teaching your dog what calm behavior looks like in the midst of riotous play. You can take either class in any order, or feel free to take the one that addresses your particular problem area. There is overlap of general issues...ones that really do need to be repeated.... |

AKC STAR PUPPY PROGRAM—Now all puppies starting in the Happy Puppy Class are eligible to for AKC Star Puppy Program. Begin in a Happy Puppy Class, and follow up with any other available Happy Hound Class. Call 615- 584-2940 for more information. |
| Welcome! Below you will find all current class offerings. For location, registration, and availability (classes are small*--space is limited)--please call me: 615-584-2940. For actual dates and times check out the calendar at my Art and Science of Dog Training Blog. Unless otherwise noted, all classes are $89 for four sessions and come with the +2 option. Buy the class, and receive a discount on 2 private lessons at my place. (+2 option not available for dogs with serious fear or aggression issues) (a minimum of two participants--2 dogs/2 owners--are necessary to have a class unless otherwise noted, in the event only one person and dog has registered for a class, four half-hour private lessons will be given instead during scheduled class time) (unless otherwise noted, make-up sessions are done 20 minutes before class the following week) |

Really Reliable Recall Based on Leslie Nelson's wonderful method. This is a four week class WITH HOMEWORK. We will work in a different location each week. I have to say, this class is surprisingly fun! |
Rainy Day Games and Confidence Building We should've been doing this class this past Summer when it was 107 degress in the shade! These games are designed for any time you want to exercise your dog without actually having to deal with the weather. This class is designed to enhance your relationship with your dog and tire your pooch out as well (brain work is extra exhausting). |
